Meet Romero, a loving and gentle soul who's looking for his forever family. He was returned to Few Steps From Home after his owner passed and the spouse had to go to a nursing home. So at 4 years old, Romero is seeking a forever home with a loving family. He has little or no experience with young children or other animals. He was very gentle with his senior Mom & Dad. He'd do best with a fenced in play area.

A few Steps from home animal Rescue requires a adoption contract to be filled out prior to adopting an animal. By filling this out, it does not mean you will be eligible for one of our pets. We do extensive veterinary and reference checks on all potential applicants. We do ask for a donation fee for the adoption of our animals to cover the vet care we have provided to the animals. After approval a contract is required to be signed.

We are A Few Steps From Home Animal Rescue. This group helps homeless and abused animals in distress find permanent homes. We provide all of our fosters with initial vet care. We are a small group so there are only a few of us that can foster these animals in our homes. We at this time foster both dogs and cats and we work with all fosters on an individual basis.
