Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Beth, a beautiful and gentle soul who’s just looking for a quiet corner of the world to call her own. Life in the shelter has been especially hard on her. She's very shy and easily overwhelmed by loud noises and busy environments. Most days, Beth prefers the safety of her cat tree, where she can observe the world from a distance until things settle down. But underneath her timid exterior is a cat with so much potential, just waiting for the right person to come along. Beth finds comfort in the presence of other cats, and she may do best in a home with a calm feline companion who can help her feel safe. What Beth truly needs is someone with a gentle heart and plenty of patience, who understands that love and trust take time. With kindness, stability, and understanding, Beth has every chance to blossom into the sweet and loving cat she’s meant to be. If you are willing to give Beth a chance please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org
Beth is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
