Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Meow meet Oolong! This handsome black and white boy has been part of our rescue family for quite some time, and he’s truly one of a kind. His adorable snaggle tooth gives him a permanently charming smile, and his affectionate personality makes it impossible not to fall for him. He is incredibly friendly, loves being pet, and actively seeks out attention. He enjoys having the run of the rescue and confidently greets visitors like he owns the place. He also gets along well with other cats. We do want to be completely transparent: he does have a consistent spraying behavior. This is not occasional or stress related - it is part of his established habits. Because of this, he will need a very understanding adopter who is prepared to manage marking behavior long term. He may do best in a home where this is less disruptive, such as a space with easy to clean surfaces, a dedicated cat room, or possibly a shop style environment where he is still safely indoors and given the love and affection his very social personality craves. He has waited a long time for someone who sees his heart first and willing to accept him fully - quirks included. For the right person, he will be an incredible loving, engaging companion. Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
