Note from Paws humans: SJ and his two brothers lived with a man for two years until he had to move into a special home where he could be cared for, and they did not allow pets. It was a major shock to these poor brothers to suddenly find themselves in an animal shelter, no matter how nice. During quarantine we tried to let them run lose in our Isolation Room, but they just crawled under the cages and hid. Once they finished quarantine we decided to move them to the Zen Meow room, as they clearly need a calm, quiet environment. They all will let you pet them, but it will take time for them to really trust people.
