Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Alora, I am a spunky and adventurous 8 week old kitten. I love running around in my tunnels, playing with my toys, and climbing anything I can! I am pretty independent but when I get sleepy I love to cuddle in the arms of my people. My foster home had dogs and we got along great! I am still working on socializing with other kittens but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon. Come by and meet me today!
The adoption fee for kittens, under seven months old, is $125. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in setting up a meet and greet, please complete an application on our website www.helpingstrays.org

We welcome you to stop by our facility located at 4221 Hanover Road in Columbia, IL.
We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.
Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.
Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
