My name is Iris!

Meet Iris 🐾

Iris is one of ten cats rescued from unsafe conditions in the home of an elderly woman who had far too many cats to care for properly. All the cats were sick and receiving no medical attention until TC Paw stepped in to place them in loving foster homes.

Now that Iris has finished raising her kittens, she is coming into her own. She is a gentle, sweet, and playful kitty with beautiful, expressive eyes. Iris gets along well with children and she has a particular love for her meals. She does not do well with other cats in the home. (We don’t know how she does with dogs.) Iris takes awhile to trust people but when she does she’s happy to hang around wherever you are.

Iris does not care to be picked up but enjoys being petted on your desk or in your bed. She adores being brushed. Her favorite game is laser tag. She is fast and agile and will meow to ask for more laser playtime! Your whole house will become her playground.

Iris also likes her breakfast and dinner. She eagerly runs to her food bowl when you feed her. Iris needs to be have her portions monitored, otherwise she would eat everything all day long.

She would thrive in a loving home where she can enjoy attention at her own pace and continue to flourish.
