Approved applicants are invited to schedule a meet-and-greet by appointment at Doggie Rescue Ranch in Live Oak, Florida.

This allows you to spend quality time with the dog and ensure a genuine connection.

Meet-and-greets are typically scheduled in advance so we can give you and the dog our full attention.

🏡 Step 4 — Adoption Approval & Contract

If the match is right, we finalize the adoption with a contract that outlines responsible pet ownership and our commitment to the animal’s welfare.

Adoption fees help cover:

• Veterinary care
• Vaccinations
• Food and supplies
• Rehabilitation and medical treatment
• Daily care while in rescue

These fees allow us to continue saving more lives.

Located in rural Live Oak, Florida, Doggie Rescue Ranch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue dedicated to saving neglected, abandoned, injured, and at-risk dogs across North Florida and South Georgia. We specialize in the cases many others cannot take — medical emergencies, neonates, senior dogs, special needs animals, and those suffering from severe neglect.

Unlike traditional shelters, our dogs are not warehoused in overcrowded facilities. They receive individualized care, medical treatment, socialization, and love in a safe ranch environment while they prepare for their forever homes.
