My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is a 5 year old purebred Yorkshire Terrier. She is a sweet little girl who came into Waggin’ Tails Rescue when her family was no longer able to care for her.

This little girl is very loving, she is not big on sitting in your lap or being carried around much but she loves to lay by you and will let you pet her all day long. She loves to be up off the ground so she is always on a bed or furniture, it’s funny because it’s like she thinks she will sink or something if she stays on the floor... she goes from one piece of furniture to the next until she gets to you spending only the necessary amount of time on the floor it takes to get to the next piece of furniture.

Zoey comes right away when called, she can sit and she knows lay. She knows stay but chooses not to use it for long; if told to stay she will do so until you turn your back then she is right beside you again.

Zoey can easily jump over a 4’ fence so she will need a home that either will only take her out on lead or has a fence 5’ or over.

There is a $40 adoption fee to cover the rescue’s costs. Zoey will be spayed upon adoption to her new family at the families cost. You choose the vet, we drop her off, she gets spayed, you pay the vet bill and you take her home. She will also need to have her shots updated and could use a teeth cleaning.
