Their adoption process

At ManyPaws, our goal is to thoughtfully match each adopter with the dog who will thrive in their home and lifestyle. While you may apply for a specific dog, sometimes another pup in our care may be an even better fit. If that happens, we’re happy to arrange multiple meet-and-greets to help you find the right match. We kindly ask that applicants keep an open mind and trust the process — it’s all about setting both you and your future dog up for success!

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Submit adoption application on our website. We are fully volunteer run so please be patient while we read over the application!
  2. Interview
    1. Adoption/application coordinator will reach out to schedule a phone interview to get to know you and what you are looking for in a pet!
  3. Home Check
    1. Home visit will be completely either in person or virtually
  4. Meet the Pet
    1. We ask that you please bring all family members and any resident dogs to the meet and greet in a neutral location!
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Adoption Agreement is signed via an online form and fee can be paid on our website
  6. Take the Pet Home
    1. The pet can be taken home from the meet and greet or a separate pick up day/time can be arranged

Go meet their pets

We host adoption events, community events, and public meet and greets. Events include paint nights, pack hikes, puppy yoga, and more! You can also find us at local farmers markets and dog-focused events in Salt Lake and Utah counties. Follow our Instagram and Facebook pages for more info! @manypawsrescue

Private meet and greets can be scheduled after an adoption application has been completed.

Monday-Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

More about this rescue

ManyPaws Animal Rescue exists to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome companion animals in need. We are committed to reducing overpopulation through spay and neuter efforts and to promoting humane education and community support that strengthens and improves animal welfare.

Our work goes beyond rescue — we are dedicated to helping families find a loving companion who is the perfect fit for their home and lifestyle. Through thoughtful matchmaking, behavioral support, and access to community resources, we strive to set both our dogs and adopters up for long-term success.

At ManyPaws, we believe adoption is the beginning of a lifelong relationship. By offering guidance, encouragement, and ongoing support, we aim to ensure every animal in our care finds not just a home, but a safe, happy, and permanent one.
