My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our Cleo (aka: Cleopatra) has a beautiful amber eyes, is about 1 1/2 yrs old and should be around 60 lbs. once she has gained her weight back. She was found abandoned in a southeast MI city emaciated, cold, hungry, and infested with intestinal parasites. The first time the good Samaritans saw her she caught their eye, she was friendly and appeared to have gotten out of her yard. The second time they saw her a few weeks later, she captured their hearts. She again came to them, but this time she was starving and crying out for their help. They immediately answered her plea and called us for help. We took her in and contacted the local authorities to see if anyone was missing this lost and beautiful girl. No one called; no one was looking for her. We have nursed her back health, and she is now parasite free and has gained a significant amount of weight. She is very loving and a big talker! She loves people, is very gentle, loves to be hugged, and likes her rawhide chewies. She is also housebroken, crate trained, and comes when she is called. She is uncertain around other dogs, especially since she was so ill when she came to us, and although she is housed in the same room as the other pups, she has not yet the freedom to play with them.
