Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reno: Director of Enthusiasm
The weather had just turned bitter cold and Reno was doing his best to keep his little paws from freezing by lifting one, and then another, as he hobbled down the street.
But from the moment he was rescued, Reno has been jumping with joy—literally! Even in his kennel at the police station, his silliness and enthusiasm were contagious. It’s virtually impossible to look at him without smiling. He even managed to cheer up his fellow kennel-mates. This little dog knows how to make the best of a bad situation.
But despite his engaging personality, no one came to claim Reno. He waited patiently in the kennel, watching as his two companions left him behind, and whimpered quietly when he was finally left alone.
But all that changed when Reno arrived at DogTopia Daycare for Dogs, which is now fostering the little terrier clown. He’s a constant source of entertainment to the staff—and especially to the dogs who come to play each day. Even after being abandoned and half-frozen, Reno exudes happiness. This is a dog who will give his family lots of love—and an equal amount of entertainment!
About our little comedian:
• 11/2year-old terrier (fox terrier/Jack Russell?); neutered; has all shots; 17 pounds
• House-trained, crate-trained and exceptionally smart (after only 2 days, Reno knew and responded to his name as if he’d had it since birth)!
• Reno is an affectionate, playful little guy who has lots of energy and also readily snuggles into a nice warm lap. Great with other dogs and would love to play and snuggle up with kids!
• Reno will do best in a home with people who want an active dog who needs lots of play and stimulation. A dog-companion would be a plus, or Reno would be happy playing at daycare once in a while!
