My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daphne is a petite Tabby-Co and extremely sweet. She has a wonderful calm disposition, nothing seems to bother her at all. She enjoys playing with her feather toys and also snuggling up with the other cats in her foster home.

Daphne was born with a slight hip displacement, so she walks a little "funny". It is not painful for her and does not affect her ability to get around. She still runs, jumps and plays like any cat. She is healthy in every other way..

Our rescue cats are tested for Heartworm, Feline leukemia and FIV, Vet. checked, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and receive flea & worm treatment. They are also bathed, groomed & get a nail trim. The adoption fee for Daphne is $25 and helps defray these expenses.

A Home for Cats is proud to be a no-kill rescue. Once a cat comes into our care, it stays with us until adopted, no matter how long that takes. Of course, when you adopt one of our cats, it makes it possible for us to rescue another one.

Our cats are fed only Hill's Science Diet brand cat foods, thanks to Hill's Shelter Nutrition Partnership program.
