Santree is a super handsome neutered male lab mix. He is a playful young fella with personality plus.

Santree is a tall boy - long and lean - with a deep black coat with nice white accents. His big brown eyes sparkle with intelligence. What a handsome boy.

Santree is a smart boy who is eager to please his humans. He knows sit like a champ - no treat needed to get him to do it. But he does like treat. He was brought to us by his owners because they were not happy with him chasing their chickens, so he could have some herder breed in his lineage. Whatever the mix, he's got a good bit of lab in him and exhibits the traits that makes labs so popular - smart, loyal and loving.

All dogs at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworms. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free one month trial of pet health insurance.
