  3. Home Check
The home check is done virtually to ensure a safe environment for our rescue dogs.
  4. Approve Application
The approval process does take some time, so please be patient. The founder knows her dogs and the home that will fit perfectly.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
Once the application has been approved, DSCR will send you a contract to sign and arrange transport, if the applicant is not local.
  6. Pay Fee
Payment is expected via PayPal once the contract is signed and prior to transport.
  7. Take the Pet Home
We are so excited for you to meet your newest family member! Once you adopt from us, you become family. Please send us updates.

Go meet their pets

All our Available Pets are in private foster homes or at our shelter in Ellaville, Georgia. Once our pups are adopted they are put on transport to the northeast for their forever home :)

More about this rescue

We, at Deep South Canine Rescue, love our fur babies more than anything on this earth. Day in and day out we bend over backwards making sure they have anything and everything their hearts desire and to make sure they're ready for a forever home. In return, we get more love than most people get in a lifetime. Rescue work is hard, it takes a team of very passionate and committed people. It is a lifestyle that requires you to make sacrifices for the good of the pups, and we never think twice. As long as our babies are healthy & happy, we are happy.
