My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wolffie: 2 yr old black & tan male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 14", 12 lb. Rescued from shelter. Wolffie's foster family can no longer foster and we need to find him a home by May 24th! He's a great dog that's been in foster care for too long!! Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested at: http://www.minpinrescue.org/home.html Wolffie was found as a stray and taken to animal control where IMPS rescued him and provided a much needed hip surgery to relieve the pain he was in. You would never know Wolffie had hip surgery with the way he can jump ~ he doesn't let anything hold back his enthusiasm. We don't have much history on this beautiful boy but scars down his side indicate it may have been less then perfect. Wolffie does not show symptoms of abuse but will hang his head and butt up against your knees if voices are raised. Wolffie really enjoys going on walks ~ he happily puts his coat on and walks very well on a harness or leash. He gets VERY excited to be let out of his kennel when you get home from work ~ he jumps and gives kisses and is so adorable! He really enjoys playing with empty water bottles and trying to tear apart toys but he can be mischievous by getting in the garbage when given an opportunity or sneaking into your purse to play with your chapstick. It takes him a couple of days to warm up to a new place but once he's settled in he is a joy to watch play and loves to snuggle with you. He does like to bark and growl at anybody he sees outside but he doesn't mean to scare people away he just wants to greet them with his "wolfish" smile and hog all the attention. He truly is a joy to foster, a puppy at heart and in his actions. This guy will be a great only dog to a playful person or companion to another playful dog. Overall Wolffie is a very sweet and fun dog to have with enough playfulness to keep someone busy but plenty of lap time to offer also. Note: Wolffie is located in Brooklyn Park, MN - and we will not fly this boy. IMPS Tag: 20111
