We encourage all potential adopters to visit our shelter to come and meet our furry friends! Not sure what you're looking for? Our shelter staff has become well acquainted with the animals in our care and can help you find the right match for you and your family. We have play yards available for you to get some one-on-one time with dogs that you are interested in, and the Kitten Corral is available for our adoptable cats!

Brenham Animal Services is committed to creating a safe, compassionate community for people and pets throughout Brenham and Washington County. As part of the City of Brenham’s public health and safety services, we provide animal control field operations within the City of Brenham and shelter services for all of Washington County.

Beyond providing shelter and care, our team works to reunite lost pets with their families, connect adoptable animals with loving homes, promote responsible pet ownership, and serve as a resource for our community.
