My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tia is quite the little sweetheart. And once you pick her up she will give you kisses, kisses, and more kisses! She's an adorable and playful little fluffball who gets along great with other dogs and loves people.

Here's what Tia's foster mom says: Tia is just a super sweet little girl with no 'issues' and she gives just the right amount of kisses. She is an absolute love and if you hold her gaze long enough she rolls over for belly rubs. She loves to give kisses with her curly-q tongue and the kids get a huge kick out of how it rolls out each time! Every time she sticks it out to kiss them they crack up. She loves to be held and cuddled, and thoroughly enjoyed it while my 2-year-old brushed her with her Tinkerbell brush for over 20 minutes. She kept rolling over to different sides for more brushing! She rode well in the car, just curled up on the passenger seat and fell asleep (woke up now and then asking for a belly rub). She is friendly with the other dogs, but was absolutely beside herself when she noticed the bunny... bark bark bark! But after the initial excitement, she still wants to look but no longer barks when she sees her. She's curious and does try to slip out the door and make a run for it, so whoever adopts her will have to be very careful and keep an eye on her (that's probably how she ended up at the shelter).

Tia is about 12-18 months old, and weighs 9 lbs. The vet said she has a slight (soft) heart murmur, which shouldn't affect her other than it's something to be aware of and monitor over her lifetime.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Tia, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form. TIA IS BEING FOSTERED IN FRESNO.
