My story

I'VE BEEN ADOPTED! Fostered in Charlotte, NC - Original Bio 8-21-06: Hi, everyone! It’s me….Cody! Don’t you think I’m a handsome fellow? My foster mom calls me “Stinker” but I don’t smell!! I’m just used to getting my way – all the time!! I found myself in jail (don’t know how I got there) and was so glad to get out! I LOVE my foster dad and I tolerate my foster fur brother and sister. I just had my vet visit – yuk! I’ve already been “fixed” – whatever that means. I have a bad cough so now I have to take medicine! Once I’m all better they’ll clean my teeth but I’ll let them know I don’t like it! After that’s done, I’ll be ready to go to my new home. Do you think you’re the family for me?


Cody was picked up by animal control and spent two weeks at the shelter. He was matted and covered with fleas when we rescued him. He’s been groomed, had his vet check and will have his dental done when his respiratory infection clears up. We think he’s about 10 years old and weighs 7 lbs. He’s a sweet little guy but does have a feisty personality! He would do well being the only pup in the family. If you’d like more info on Cody, please contact his foster mom at :
