Cassie and Calvin: These two chubbies are lhasa/poodle mixes and are mother and son. They were some backyard breeder’s dogs in Palm Springs and she was busted by animal reg and these two sweethearts were headed to the shelter. They have obviously been overfed (but were never groomed, as you can see by the "before" photo). They are very healthy and Cassie has recently had her teeth cleaned.

Cassie is about 3 years old and Calvin is about 1. Right now they weigh 19 lbs and 18 lbs. Both are just as sweet as can be. They are bonded with each other and must be adopted together. These two will be absolutely beautiful once their hair grows out and they lose a little weight (they LOVE to go for walks so it should be no time at all!). They both get along great with other dogs. They are quiet, affectionate, and very well-behaved.
