My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stone is a handsome neutered male lab (with maybe Rottie or Dobie and some hound) mix with lots of personality. He came to the Humane Society when his human family relocated, but could not afford to take him along.

Stone is a good natured fella who is well behaved and eager to please his humans. He's clearly been loved and is accustomed to the attention of a family. He is a well behaved fella who is eager to please his humans.

Stone is a lean boy - a bit smaller than your typical lab - with a sleek black coat. He's got brown markings on his face, chest and legs, with cute little eyebrows, that give him a very expressive look.

Stone is a good boy who deserves a chance at a real forever home. Someone who will stick with him through it all - relocating included. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will think the sun rises and sets on you - Stone is the fella for you. Come make him a part of your family today.

All dogs at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworms. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free one month trial of pet health insurance.
