My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You must complete an Adoption Application to be elegible for adoption of Friscoe, located at www.NCYorkieRescue.org under the Forms Tab.

Located in Charlotte, NC meet Frisco, (formerly Brisco) who wandered into a family's yard in October. They were not able to find the owner and with their hectic life were not able to keep him. They surrendered Frisco to find him a wonderful family. His name change came from his personality, frisky, playful and energetic. He adjusted to his foster family very quickly. He weighs 10 pounds, seems to be about 4 years old, will be neutered on February 9th, and is current on shots. He loves his life with his foster family, playing with their Golden Retrievers and other Yorkies. He watches the cats closely but does not want to hurt them. He has been "kid tested", but as with most Yorkies, he would be best placed in a family with older children. He loves to run and play in the fenced in yard where he can frolic and get lots of exercise. When he is tired, he loves a warm lap, a soft pillow, sofa or bed. Frisco will make a wonderful companion and is waiting for his "Forever Home" this time!

We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) and are a non-profit group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home. Please contact NCYorkieRescue@AOL.com for more information and be sure to visit www.NCYorkieRescue.org and fill out an adoption application, located on the top of the page - FORMS, to be eligible for adoption. Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued yorki.
