My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, have you heard of the "MEXICAN HAIRLESS" dog breed? Well Cindy is just the opposite, she is a "MEXICAN HAIRFULL." Not really, she was born in Guadalajara Mexico, born to a full-bred Chow-Chow mother and a full-bred German Shepard father. She was taken from her mother when she was only 5 weeks old and brought over to L.A. to initiate with what would be a very sad and isolated life on a chain for the next 5 years. Fortunately, her owners had to move and like so many other irresponsible, heartless humans they were going to put her out in the streets to wander because they did not want to take her to the shelter! Where do people get these ideas!!!! Anyway, we took her in and unlike many dogs that have lived on a chain, CIndy has absolutely not an ounce of aggression. She displays quite the opposite, alot of submission. We immediately made an appt. for her at the groomers and we have to say that we have never seen a dog walk into a groomers shop in such a hurry. She wanted to be clean, fresh and free of matts, Cindy is truly a little lady. She is incredibly gentle with children and could care less about other dogs. Every now and then she will play and frolic with some of the dogs but it is usually very short lived. She would do well with someone that is looking for a sweet, quiet and gentle companion.
