Hello new friends!!
My name is Pepper, and I am so thankful that the kind volunteers of Waggs and Wishes Animal Rescue were able to take me into their shelter and into their hearts! I've had a rough couple of months, but thankfully, Aunt Angie the founder of Waggs and Wishes have helped me to get over the hurt of my past and start to wag my tail more! I came to Waggs and Wishes when a volunteer at a kill shelter up north called and told Waggs my time would be up shortly. My previous family just opened the door and let me wander away, I got picked up and taken to a shelter by my house. I had my tags on when I was found, so one of the volunteers at the shelter I was pulled from, called my family and was hung up on when they told them where I was. Luckily Aunt Angie took me into her wonderful shelter and I've been having a great time ever since! These Waggs and Wishes volunteers give the best ear scratches and puppy biscuits EVER!
Enough about my past - let me tell you a little bit about the me I've become. I am a fun loving fella who has good house manners, I know where its appropriate to potty, and where it is not, I can sit and lie down, I get along really well with other dogs and cats, and I love to have my ears scratched and my belly rubbed! I'm a happy go lucky kinda guy who is looking for a forever home that will take me for long walks, play fetch with me in a fenced backyard, snuggle with me, keep my belly full of quality food (and yummy puppy treats!) and make me feel like a part of your family.
One more thing before I go....you know how they say that a camera adds 10lbs to your behind? Well, this darn photographer used a camera that made me look WAY bigger than I really am! You see, I have a really fluffy coat and it makes me look like a bigger pup - I'm really quite tiny I swear!
