Catz Jazz Rescue assists as many unfortunate & abandoned cats as possible, while advocating the message of compassion towards animals and responsible pet ownership. Catz Jazz strives to be one of the best Austin cat rescue operations by providing comfort & care for each and every animal coming into our rescue with consideration of their individual situations. Our goal is to find life-long companions for the rescued cats in our care.
Read about Tarzan & Jane: From the heart of the jungle comes Tarzan and Jane, two siblings rescued from a feral colony behind Scholz Beer Garden so that they will be able to have a life away from the dangers of life on the streets.
Tarzan & Jane are ready to become a legend in your home if you are inclined to put in the time and energy to provide the comfort they need in order to bloom. These precious siblings were not rescued at a real young age and we are still working on social skills, though they are both doing well in that regard.
These two must be adopted together as Jane relies on her brother like a security blanket and Tarzan is protective of his sister as only a brother would be.
Tarzan is an orange tabby who will be a medium build when full-grown and Jane is a torbie who will be on the smaller side.
These two enjoy playing with their toys and one another and will most often be found curled up asleep together once they have exhausted themselves from such action-packed play sessions.
Once placed in your lap they will both pure contentedly within a few minutes as they feel secure.
This awesome pair of kittens are well worth your efforts and will return your love/affection many times over as they will be a blessing to any cat loving home.

This SATURDAY & SUNDAY @ Lakeline PETsMART 11066 Pecan Park Blvd. Cedar Park, TX 78613 Please Follow Catz Jazz! Thank you for supporting us! All donations are tax-exempt. We are a registered 501(c) (3) charity recognized by the IRS. | Donate a Kuranda cat bed If you can't adopt Tarzan & Jane, would you consider donating a Kuranda cat bed to them while they wait for a forever person to find them? Our rescued cats love to sleep on Kuranda cat beds because of their orthopedic comfort and we love them because they are stackable, allowing high perches for shy cats while increasing the amount of floor space, but due to our already constricted operating budget, we just don't have enough for everyone to sleep on. When you donate a Kuranda cat bed to us, you will give an Austin rescue cat a place to sleep in comfort and have a bed to dream on while they patiently wait for their forever home. We also gratefully accept donations of much-needed items from our Catz Jazz Wish List. Thank you so much for helping us out. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. |
A husband, father, brother, friend, and neighbor who lives in our community, is in dire need of our immediate help! At the beginning of July 2010, Chris Blankinship, a trusted and caring volunteer with Catz Jazz Rescue, was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Astrocytoma (grade III). This is a rare (about 4% of the population), life-threatening, rapidly-growing, malignant tumor. Due to the nature of this specific tumor and it's location, the only available treatment possibilities are very limited clinical trials (experimental treatments) for chemo and radiation treatment possibilities that will easily exceed the tens of thousands of dollars mark. We believe that with prayers, positive energy and strong willpower, and the financial help from compassionate supporters who are sympathetic to his plight, we can give Chris a chance to opt for those treatment possibilities, but time is of the essence! Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is so greatly appreciated by his friends and family. We humbly ask for your support. Can you please help? Click here to Read Chris's story. |
