Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Balto II is one of our Special Needs dogs. He is essentially blind in both eyes and so will need a special adopter, one who can overlook his handicap and see him for what he really is – a calm, happy and playful youngster that has a zest for life.
Initially he will bump into things but quickly learns his surroundings. He likes wrestling and rolling all over the floor and loves playing tug-of-war.
Balto walks well on his leash and tries to get you to run with him. At home, he enjoys licking everything and everyone and, like most Huskies, is very content to curl up in his human’s lap and relax.
According to his foster Dad, Balto understands commands “pretty well” but can be sloppy when he drinks his water, so keep a towel under the bowl.
Balto II is neutered, house trained, microchipped and up-to-date with all his shots.
Whether he can see you, or not, Balto will shower you with affection and loyalty. You will always feel good when he’s around. Bring some love into your life and fill out an adoption application on our web site, www.siberrescue.com,today.
