GABRIEL is a hybrid - he is called a "Golden Doodle."
we are sure of his ancestry as he was bought from a Golden Doodle breeder.
Gabriel's former owner adores him, and was heartbroken to give him up. WE will NOT let her down! Gabriel will only go to the perfect home that will fit both HIM and the new family the best.
Gabriel is 8 months old , and full of spunk. He is a VERY happy GO Lucky boy.
ENERGY PLUS!
Gabriel will THRIVE in an active family, he loves kids( even little children- his former owner has grandchildren ages 3 & 5 and the neighbors child was 4 - he was very gentle with all of them) and friendly dogs, and he likes to play with cats . He is still ALL PUPPY in his mannerisms.
Not a mean bone in his gorgeous body. He requires no clipping except under his chin to keep his beard out of food & water. He loves the water, baths, and will even jump in the shower with you. He LOVES the dog beach too.
He is a very low shedder, like a poodle. He has the lovely wavy coat , and is very soft and fluffy.
This is a dog that needs something to DO. He loves to play and be active. He is VERY intelligent and gets bored easily. He will do best with activity, and probably a doggie companion to hang out with.
Gabriel is NOT a dog that can be crated all day while you're at work - it will drive him crazy.
He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night ( but would make a very nice pillow!)
Gabriel has taken puppy training classes and walks well on his leash with his gentle leader, but will benefit from regular obedience training now that he is older and bigger, as he will jump on you in sheer joy.
He is a VERY happy dog.
He loves his toys, and loves to carry them around the house. He will also pick up clothing and carry that around the house but doesnt chew it up - he just likes to move things around.
This dog was NEVER abused and has no behavior problems at all. He is rather quiet and rarely barks, usually only to tell you he needs to go out or wants water.
IF you have the energy and stamina to keep up with this very active dog, he is a wonderful dog and will be the light of your life.
We would like to place him possibly with a stay at home mom that has kids that are old enough to play with him OR a person maybe that is not at work all day and has time to do things with this dog. He is highly trainable and could be trained to do anything from agility to therapy dog if you take the time to do this.
Basic obedience classes will be in his contract and mandatory. We want to make sure you know how to communicate with him, and this will help you bond with him faster & deeper.
Gabriel is UTD on all shots, neutered, housebroken, crate trained, and will be micro chipped after adoption.
