Scooby is approximately 1 - 2 years old. Scooby is believed to be a Shepherd mix -- most likely crossed with a Shiba Inu or small husky. He weighs approximately 40-45 pounds.

Scooby is vet checked, vaccinated, and heartworm tested negative. He is current of flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. He will be neutered prior to leaving our rescue.

Scooby does well with other dogs and has been introduced to all sizes, large and small. He is very playful and loves to run and play. Scooby tends to be scared of cats at first, but then he loosens up and pays them no attention at all.

Scooby would be excellent with children, however, he would prefer older children (5+ years). He still has some of his puppy energy and occasionally forgets his manners, but he's a good boy and he likes to please.

Sooby is believed to be housetrained, however he needs a regular schedule. He will le you know he needs outside and can at times, be vocal about it! He is also kennel trained, but loves to snuggle near you!

Scooby loves to check out his environment and is very snoopy at first. We are also working with him on basic obedience and not jumping up. He does sometimes think he's a lap dog but he's very sweet and loving. Besides some basic rules and reinforcements -- he's a super great boy!
