My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Roxie, a super-dynamo beauty full of energy and fun! She’s about seven and is a border collie mix of some sort. She’s a genuinely happy dog who is a born leader, but gets along with most other dogs, as long as she can lead. Roxie spent the first four years of her life tied up in a backyard, with only rainwater to drink, so she’s making up for all the lost time--and doing it like a pro! Roxie needs to run! She loves her freedom, and would do best on a ranch, or any place with lots of land. She would also do well in a fenced backyard as long as you took her on lots of walks, and if you’re a runner, she’ll love you forever! She loves to chase deer, birds, cats- anything. If you’ve trying to keep deer off your property and away from your plants, she will be your prized guard. For more information, contact digwerks@aol.com.

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
