My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dobie is the victim of neglect. He has a compound fracture of his left hind leg that was allowed to go untreated by his previous owner. He was not fed and left to die. A sympathetic neighbor called the pound, and Dobie was confiscated. He will have to have his leg amputated, but is at least a month away from being able to withstand surgery due to his weakened state. We are accepting donations for his surgery if anyone can spare a few dollars. Dobie's gentle spirit and trusting eyes will not let us give up on him. Please call 225-287-4760 if you can help, or would like to fill out an adoption form for Dobie when he is well. Thank you.
