Hi! My name is Marvin.
Not to long ago I was on the street hiding in the bushes because I wasnt feeling very good. I very nice man came, picked me up and took me to the doctor. They said that I had something called hookworms and erlichia which is caused from flea and tick bites and since I was on the street with no home I had no protection against it.
Luckily though the nice people at the doctors gave me some medicine for both and expect me to just fine in no time at all with no complications!
I was found just in the nick of time, since I was very lethargic and needed fluids. After the doctors I went to the very nice mans home where I am currently staying but, I cannot stay here forever because they have too many doggies and cats already and they need to help other lost doggies like me. I was told that someone will adopt me and make me their forever friend soon! I hope that day comes, I cant wait. I like it here and the nice man and his wife are very nice to me. They tell me I am very sweet and cant believe I was abandoned because I am so well behaved. I agree!
I am a Border Collie/Corgi Mix, I am a cool and calm dude and once I am 100% healthy again my energy level should rise a bit too. I like to go on walks, get belly rubs or just hang out next to my person. I am a very quick learner and I was able to learn my name and come when called in just 3 days!
I am good with other dogs just as long as they aren't too excitable and cats too. Oh, and I like kids. I am housebroken and behave very well when left alone.
