My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Underdog is proud to present Ham!
Hammie was found in a very neglectful situation where his owners abandoned him to live in a cage with his female mate, Cheese with no food or water.
When we arrived he and his friend were covered in feces and filth having no access to water and no protection from the hot Florida sun or rain.
They were both very happy to see us and jumped for joy to get out of there!
Ham& Cheese were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and microchipped. He is very friendly and likes to play with everyone. He is a tiny 4-5 lb bundle of energy. Since he was locked up in that crate he is now learning to go potty outside.
We would like to keep Ham together with his mate, Cheese. She is a Chihuahua and weighs about 8lbs. They are a bonded pair and have been through so much together that we do not feel they should be separated.
Cheese is the more mellow of the two and a bit older at about 2 years of age. She can be a little apprehensive of new people at fist, but warms up quickly.
They are both being fostered together in a home with several other small dogs and are doing very well.
If you would like to make Ham & Cheese part of your family please contact us.
An adoption application and home visit is required.
An adoption fee of $225 is for both dogs.
