My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 04/01/2011: Koko is an adorable almost 4 year old 5.5 lb little Yorkie who is now being fostered in Palm Coast, FL (near Jacksonville).

Koko has apparently had some trauma in her past that has lead to her being afraid of men and very fearful of strangers in general. She is a very timid little girl that will require allot of time and attention from her new owner so she can learn to trust again. Koko loves to be held and cuddled by her mommy. She is not completely house broken and seems to do well with more frequent potty breaks outdoors (no carpets please!). Koko cowers when you extend your hand out to her or she may try to run away. She may snap at strangers that attempt to pick her up as she is very fearful. Because of this and her size, she cannot be adopted into a home with children.

The best suited home for Koko would be one with a stay at home possibly retired mommy that has the patience and time to give Koko loads of love and one on one attention and understands that she may take a little longer to gain trust of her human companion(s). A home with a back yard and another pup of her size would also be beneficial as Koko loves to go out in the back yard and run around with her foster mom's pups. KoKo has great potential. She just needs to feel secure and loved and it may
take some time. If think you are the perfect home for KoKo, please fill out an application.

INITIAL BIO: 3/10/2011: KoKo is an adorable 4 year old 5.5 lb little girlie who is being fostered in Miramar, FL. She was surrendered by her owner who could no longer care for her.

Koko is a sweet but so far timid little girl in her foster home. She is housetrained not to go potty on wood or tile, but she does get confused on carpet. She likes other dogs, and is very affectionate. However, it has been determined she does not care for children and can only be placed in an adult home. KoKo is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is microchipped. She is a lovely little girlie and needs a patient, loving owner to be her FURever mommy or daddy! Please email KoKo's FM for more information!
