My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, this is ARVIS. He is a mixed-breed fellow who is part Leonberger and German Shepherd, we think. He was born at the animal shelter and has been taken in by a foster home until he finds a home of his own. He is now eight months old and around 40 lbs. His mother is 50 lbs so he should mature to about that size. He is a sweet boy, but still commands the alpha position amongst is brothers. He is fairly laid back for a young dog and likes to cuddle and be near his person. He has been in a home environment since he was a little puppy so he knows how to be part of a home. He hasn’t been around children or cats, but should be fine with the right introductions. He has already learned basic commands like SIT. Out of his six brothers, he is the Alpha of the litter. He may do best as an only dog or with another dog who is a female. A large yard or daily long walks should work well at expending his energy. Arvis has started to learn where to potty, but will need a family that is patient and consistent as he continues to learn. Arvis has medium to long hair and will need a weekly brushing.
