My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Pacey, and I’m a great little guy who looooves people! I am a 10 year old standard dachshund, and when my owner had to move, I ended up at the pound. I don’t know what I did to deserve that, but luckily Young at Heart rescued me! And my little tail hasn’t stopped wagging since! I’m such a sweet boy, too! I am housebroken and love to play with other dogs of all sizes. I do pull a little on a leash, so I need to be walked in a harness, but boy do I love to cruise around and smell the roses (and the trees, and the bushes, and the grass…). I’m housebroken and really trustworthy in the house, and I love to chew my bones and get super comfy in my fluffy dog bed. I am extremely affectionate, and love to give you kisses if you’ll let me! I’m a healthy guy without any back issues, so I would do best in a home with minimal stairs, (as most doxies do), to protect my long back as I age. My happy little body will just wiggle when I see you, so why don’t you come meet me to see what I mean?
