My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max came into our Rescue from an ad on Craig’s list. A young couple adopted him and then found out the wife was expecting. Max is a very loving and docile gentle giant that just wants a nice home and warm people to cuddle with.

5/31/11 Update: Even though Max got off to a ruff start (pun intended), he’s doing great now. Max had a bad case of happy tail that just wouldn’t heal. The top 3 inches of his tail had to be amputated, but you would never know it. He still wags away with gusto. Max followed that up with swiping the Rimadyl off the counter. Since I didn’t know how much he ingested, I was off to the vet again. Max had to have charcoal given to him, but all labs were normal and he hasn’t had any kidney or liver problems. I think he must have a stomach of steel. His teeth however, are not made of steel. He broke one of his front teeth off which resulted in another trip to the vet. I’m beginning to think he likes the vet a little too much. The good news is that while the vet was pulling what was left of the tooth, she cleaned all the others. Max came home with bright pearly whites and fresh breath. So this guy has had a complete overhaul head to tail. He is a huge bundle of love eager to give it to anyone that will have it.
