Wheeler is approximately 3 years old and is a Pit Bull/Basset Hound Mix. He has the body of a basset hound and the muscle and face of a Pit Bull. He has very short legs and waddles when he walks! He weighs approximately 40 pounds.

Wheeler is vet checked, vaccinated, and neutered. He was heartworm positive, but has been treated and has no lasting symptoms. He is heartworm tested negative now and is current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Wheeler is good with other dogs. He has no issues with either large or small dogs. He plays well once he's warmed up to new dogs and love to run and chase! Wheeler is good with cats and has no issues with them and would be fine living with them.

Wheeler does well with children. He loves people and enjoys attention. He's very well behaved and knows some of his basic commands. He's smart and starting to catches on fast. Wheeler is kennel trained and is believed to be housetrained too. Wheeler is a very loving, happy, and sweet boy! He loves to go for walks, although he's good at snuggling too!
