My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING!
3/9/07 - Hi! I'm Cricket! I am about 6 years old and 15 lbs. I know... I don't look like a typical yorkie, but I am mixed with something else(maybe Westie?) - either way, I am quite a sweet and handsome fellow. If you are looking for a potty-trained pup who loves to chase balls, adores squeaky toys, enjoys rides in the car and going for walks, then I’m your man!! And while I like everyone, I really bond to the man of the house! It’s a guy thing, ya’ know! And I want to be the only boy dog in the house because I like to be in charge!! So if you have time to spend with me (maybe you’re retired or work part time), please put in an adoption application for me.

Cricket had a dental done a few weeks ago, and is going back to the vet for a follow-up checkup. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative. Cricket was originally found as a stray and was scheduled to be put down due to a skin problem which caused him to lose his hair. We found out it was simply an allergy to fleas, so with applying flea preventative, his hair grew back and he is doing great! Once Cricket gets a good bill of health on his teeth, he will be ready for adoption. If you want to give this sweety a FOREVER home, please fill out an adoption application. Thank you!

We are committed to educating the public, our adoptees and volunteers about the Yorkshire Terrier Breed. Our focus is not finding the right pup for a home, but finding the right home for each and every pup.
