Vinnie's Story...
Vinnie is a tall, dark, & handsome Dobie/Lab mix who is abt 1 yr old and only about 35-40 lbs (very small for Dobie/Lab). He has a sleek black and brindle coat, irresistible puppy dog eyes and a personality that will melt your heart. Vinnie loves to play and give kisses. He is 100% housebroken and will paw at the door when it's time to go out. Vinnie loves to play with other dogs and cats and adores kids of all ages. He can be very active because he is still a puppy but in the evening, he'll lay on his foster dad's chest while watching TV. In fact he'll lay there for hours as he is being petted. Vinnie is really a lap dog and it's hard to imagine him getting much bigger (except for just filling out).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vinnie, a Overland Park Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
