My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovey (Nitro TB Lover) really lives up to her name. She is just a doll, sweet and gentle, loving and has a really nice temperment. She is a small greyhound girl, only about 57 lbs, gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home, and has tested as cat friendly. She is a beautiful, shiny black with a small spot of white on her chest. As you can tell from her photos, Lovey is in excellent condition. She already walks very nicely on a leash and rides quite well in a car. Lovey has such a nice temperment that she would make a very nice therapy dog to take to hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. (We recommend "Paws for Friendship" www.pawsforfriendshipinc.org to have your dog certified as a therapy dog.) This would be a wonderful second career for Lovey. While on the track, Lovey competed in only 17 races, winning twice. Her last race was April 13th. Lovey just turned 3 years old, so she should have a long and happy life as a pet. Lovey's $250 adoption fee includes her spay, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, microchip, leash and collar, adoption guide, grooming mitt and stuffie toy.
