My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Jake's 2nd time at the shelter. A couple of months ago he was adopted by what we thought was a good family. Unfortunately it turned out that it wasn't a good place for Jake. They didn't take very good care of Jake so we went and rescued him. We think Jake is a Husky/Shepherd mix. Jake is an awesome dog and super sweet!!! He walks good on a leash and is very well behaved. He loves people and attention. He would be a big lap dog if you let him! We are not sure how Jake gets along with other dogs, really small children or cats. Jake has been exposed to older children and he adores them. If you are interested in adopting Jake, you can visit him at the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter located at 3265 Curve Nankipoo Rd in Ripley, Tennessee. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-2pm. (Closed Noon-1pm for lunch.) We are also open 8am-Noon on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. Our phone number is (731) 836-7387.
