Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I was purchased as a puppy to protect the family and for a short time I lived in the house but as I grew my owners decided I was too big to be in the house so outside I went. I have lived the majority of my short life on a chain. It was not till the neighbors complained did I get a dog house. When winter arrived the neighbors decided they could no longer stand to watch me suffer. Yes I had a dog house but no straw to help keep me warm and if not for the neighbors I would not have had food or water. The neighbors convinced my owners to release me to Harlequin Haven.
I weigh 89 pounds and my ears are frost bitten. Don't worry my old family will be fine they got a new puppy for Christmas!!
Update January 15: It is hard to believe I have been at the rescue for a year!! I am so cute and loving and yes I have learned to play gently with humans and other dogs!
