My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Davey is not only a handsome boy, but he has a super personality to go with it. He is friendly, laid back and fairly quiet. His little wagging tail does alot of the talking for him. He is housetrained and somewhat spoiled. He prefers sleeping near his humans and ultimately on the bed with them. He will try to get on the bed first and stretch out with his head on the pillow and make himself look so adorable in hopes he won't get disturbed. Davey likes the company of other dogs esp the girls. Oh, he also has the most amazing eyes...He is an all around wonderful dog that needs his own home and family to love and cherish him for the rest of his life. An ideal home is one where he will get lots of attention, be part of the family and maybe have another dog and/or children to play with. A fenced in yard would be great too so he has a safe place to run around or lay out in the sunshine. Davey is a rescue from the Nash County NC animal shelter. He was a stray and was scheduled to be pts the day I was there. His 3 day hold time was up. There was no way this boy was going to die so home he came. What a treasure he has been. Adopting Davey includes filling out an application, vet reference, home visit and signing a contract. His adoption fee is $150. We put alot of time and love into our fosters and our # 1 concern is that they go to a wonderful forever home.
