Bella's story
This sweet girl came to us off the streets of Dallas. Her foster mom noticed that she was not acting herself and seemed lifeless just a few days into foster care. She was taken to the emergency room in the wee hours of the morning where IV fluids were administered to try to stabilize her. After being transferred to our vet, 2 rounds of bloodwork and a sonogram later her vet found that she was suffering from a bad spay operation. Bella was held at the vets until her blood work came back normal and then was discharged. About a week later on a Sunday night she had another similar episode and was rushed to the ER. Bella was transferred again to our vet where bloodwork, IV's and another surgery was performed. We found that she had a growth and a small infection that was in her tummy and on her organs (from the spay), this was removed. Bella is now back in foster care and doing well. She is getting back to being a happy girl and healing for her new forever home........................Bella needs your help,

Bella is a Weimaraner/Dachshund mix, about 1yr old, 25-30 lbs, female, spayed, HW negative, up to take on shots, crate and house trained.
Bella is a great girl very friendly, and does well with other animals and people alike. She's not an excessive barker, not a digger and is well mannered in the home. Bella's very personable! Her foster mom is busy teaching her to sit, lie down and to come on command. Apparently Bella's a smart girl, too.
We are taking applications on Bella but she will not be available for adoption until December 16th.
This sweetheart craves attention and pets-and-pats-and-rubs and will make a wonderful house and family member.
Bella's adoption fee is $200.00.

Anyone interested in our dogs or cats will be required to fill out an adoption contract which includes a home visit by one of our volunteers.
OUR ADOPTION FEES:
Dogs are $160 - $200 which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, heartworm test (and treatment if necessary), deworming , plus all food, hw prevention, flea tick meds, and other supplies needed in foster care till adopted.
