My story

Sugar T is a loving dog who genuinely wants to please her owner. She really is the best cuddler ever, and comes with a never ending supply of kisses. Her family thinks she is the funniest and smartest dog in the world, too. Sugar likes to play with her toys, and will entertain herself for hours, but (fortunately) she is not a yapper. Miss Sugar T is only about 5 years old, and has probably spent two years of those years in animal shelters. She has come a long way from being hand shy and cautious, to being the Belle of the Ball! As far as housetraining goes - she went from utterly hopeless to being 95% house-trained. Sugar does have a problem with dog parks - she is unable to cope with the noise, excitement, and the strange dogs; one on one with a dog she is properly introduced to Sugar is wonderful. This little lady would make a perfect companion for someone who could care less about going to the dog park and has time to spend with Sugar during the day. The person who wins Sugar T’s love forever will be one lucky person!

Note: This is a Guardian Assistance Placement (GAP) Program dog, meaning he/she has been fortunate enough to remain in his/her current home while looking for a new home. Veterinary records have been verified, but we must rely on input from the owner for information on behavior and temperament.
