Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Scooter. I am a 5 to 6 year old, Silky Terrier and I weigh about 18lbs. I am a very sweet, little guy and I LOVE belly rubs! My favorite thing to do is hang out on the couch next to my foster mom and be her companion. I was dumped by my previous owners because I lost my sight. Then, I was used at a local veterinary school, and when they had finished teaching all of the students how to ‘run tests’ on me, I was dumped again at Animal Services. Everyone says that my foster mom is my guardian angel because she stepped in on the morning I was scheduled to be euthanized and took me home with her. She says that she doesn’t even notice that I’m blind. It only took me a day to get used to the new home and I can get around just fine. I get along well with other dogs and children, and I really just want to be someone’s new cuddle buddy. My foster mom thinks I could be a therapy dog, or should go to a family with someone who is home a lot. I have all of my vaccines, a microchip and I have been neutered. If you would like to meet me, please e-mail petadopt@hotmail.com to get an application and ask any questions. I really hope I get to meet you soon.
