Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bentley is a 7 year old AKC-registered black and tan German Shepherd dog.
But , he still has the energy and enthusiasm of a puppy!
He loves to play fetch with sticks and balls, go swimming and running, and trying to be a lap
dog - all 75 pounds of him.
He is a real sweetheart and loves his humans so
much, he prefers to not be left alone all day and definitely needs someone who could exercise him often. He is strictly an inside dog - and a fenced
yard will be required.
Bentley is very intelligent and is already obedience
trained - but he would love to maybe even to learn some new tricks!
As he has so much energy, Bentley needs a home with no small children ( under 5 yrs old please)- he doesn't seem to realize how big he is.
HE is VERY gentle with his foster moms children ( all 5 kids ages 6 -11 yrs old) regardless if he is playing ball with them, or just lounging on the sofa with them.
He is also doing well with the male puppy they also have.
HE was great with my cats , basically Ignored them.
He is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines.
He is housebroken.
He will be microchipped when adopted.
This dog will give you his whole heart and love you forever , and as a true GSD he will protect his loved ones, always.
He alerts to strangers at the door, and His Impressive size and TRUE German Shepherd traits , will make anyone feel MUCH safer at home.
Bentley will do best as an ONLY dog, or possibly with a female dog as a companion.
I had the day to enjoy Bentley in my home while his foster mom was on the way to come get him, I cannot TELL you how WELL MANNERED he was .. He is an EXCEPTIONAL DOG.
He is VERY good on leash, and obeyed everything I told him to do .
He is a HEART STEALER... We are ALL in love with this boy.
He does NOT act his age at all, he is spry , agile , but does show restrain in the home.
This is a GREAT GERMAN SHEPHERD- IF you meet him - He will STEAL your HEART too.
PLEASE GIVE BENTLEY THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER... A FOREVER HOME!!
