Hi there friend!
My name is Pippen and I have a bit of a sad story to share with you as we get to know each other better...I'm not sure what we did wrong, but my sister Daisy and I were dumped on the side of a road by our previous owner. We ran and ran and ran after our owners truck but they never stopped for us... A kindhearted man saw us get dumped and picked us up and took us to a county animal shelter. It's such a sad place there...so many lonely dogs and cats looking for a loving home. Pippen and I sat in that shelter for quite some time before someone said our "time was up." Someone stopped and picked them up took them to the county shelter. Thank goodness Waggs & Wishes was able to give us a temporary home as we look for a family to call our own. While we would obviously love to be adopted together, we understand that in order for us both to be happy again we may have to live with separate families.
I'm a playful little fella who loves to soak up the attention from the shelter volunteers! I LOVE getting attention and affection from my humans - there aren't enough ear scratches and belly rubs in the world! I get along well with other dogs, haven't really met a cat yet, so I'm not sure if I'd like them, but I'm willing to try! The vet says that I am about 8 months old, and I'm UTD on all of my vaccines, heartworm negative, and spayed already. All I need is a loving forever home to call my own!
