My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samira is a 1 yr old Rottie/mix. She weighs about 60 pounds but is expected to fill in and go about 75 by the time she is full grown. She is full of fun energy but is still kind of skittish around new people and sounds. Once she gets to know you, she is super friendly and warm and cuddly. She gets along GREAT with other playful dogs. She is completely housetrained AND crate trained. She loves going for structured power walks and is learning her basic commands. She sits and heels but her puppy attention span can't quite get "stay" just yet. ;) While she starts out very shy, she has warmed up to and gotten along great with everyone in her foster home, from 3yr olds to adults. She would to best in a home as the only dog, or with another dog that wants a playmate as she is always ready to go. Samira doesn't quite know yet how big she is, cause she seems to think that she can be a lap dog. She would like nothing more than to sit on your lap and lick your face! She loves her morning belly rubs and the occasional shoulder massage. Overall, she has adapted very well to home life and will make a fantasic pet to whomever adopts her into her furever home.
