My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They named me Bo because that’s Chinese for "precious". Even while I was in doggie jail, I was wagging my tail and giving little pei kisses through the fence. My foster mom sometimes calls me Beau because I’m such a lover boy or Bojangles because I do happy dog dances every chance I get.

My foster mom says I’m just so cute that even totally inappropriate families want to take me home. One really nice lady wanted to take me to Ecuador with her – I don’t even know where that is! Another family wanted me to move in with eight cats – come on, I’d probably be fine with one or two, but eight???

I know she’s going to find the perfect home for me, she says I need a fenced yard and somebody strong so I don’t pull them down the street on a leash. (I’m learning to be better, but it’s so exciting to get outside in the world and see what’s happening!) I’d really like to be a bed boy too, it’s so much nicer up with my family – surely they know I’m a four-legged child and shouldn’t have to sleep on the floor.

I’ve been taking pills twice a day for 30 days now so I’m over the worst of these heartworm things. They say I’ll need to get another kind of pill twice a month for a while longer but I feel so great now I do happy dog dances all day long. Can I come dance at your house?
