My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riley is a 4 year old spayed female Weimaraner that is full of energy and personality. She was an owner surrender because they did not have time for her anymore. As you can see - instead of giving her attention they gave her too many cookies and she came to us very overweight!!!!! She has already lost many pounds but still has more to go until she is at a healthy weight so she can do all the things she can and will do when she is thin and fit. She was raised with two little boys so she is safe with children other than being a big active dog that could knock a little one down. She also lived with a cat but I would not really trust her to buddy up with a new one. She is housebroken and walks on a leash. She is also crate trained and since her pedigree has some solid proven hunting dogs behind it she might hunt if given the chance. She will need obedience training to learn some additional manners and how to curb her enthusiasm. She is very happy and loves to play with other dogs but gets along the best with a male dog. She is pretty confused and lost without her own family and home so if you want to include her in your pack let us know. She is heartworm negative and upt to date on her vaccines
